Do you offer tours?
We love to show beer-lovers (and their family and friends) where and how we make our beer. However we're still a pretty small operation, so we need to schedule tours on weekends when the brewery's not in operation. Generally we offer private tours Saturday afternoons at 2:00 p.m. for folks who make a reservation in advance. Each tour is followed by a beer tasting session and lasts about an hour. We can handle a total of about 20 guests at a time. Please call (636-474-2337) or email (info@ofallonbrewery.com) to make an appointment for a free tour and tasting session.
Can I pick up a six-pack or keg at the brewery?
No. We are licensed by the state of Missouri to manufacture and distribute beer to retailers in our state and distributors in other states, so we can not sell beer directly to consumers.
However, our beers are available at numerous retailers (grocery and liquor stores, bars and restaurants) throughout the St. Louis area (please see "Buy our Beer").
In addition we sell our beer to distributors in Illinois, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Michigan, Pennsylvania and Wisconsin. You'll find a list of those distributors at "Buy our Beer."
Do you make donations to support charity?
Absolutely! We love beer, and we love to share it and our merchandise with our friends to help worthy causes and encourage folks to try our beers. In order to limit liability, encourage responsible use and control expenses, the O’Fallon Brewery will follow these guidelines when we donate beer.
A. We will donate up to $250 per month of product to organizations to offer our beer
to consumers for consumption at a charity or private event (non-resale).
1) The organization must be properly licensed by the state of Missouri (if necessary)
and place the order in writing with the brewery no less than 30 days in advance.
2) The O’Fallon Brewery will not donate beer when other malt beverages
are purchased by the organization or individual.
B. We will offer special prices to non-profit organizations
to sell to consumers to generate funds (resale):
1) The organization must be properly licensed by the state of Missouri and
place the order in writing with the brewery no less than 30 days in advance.
2) The O’Fallon Brewery will invoice organization at a discount
(our “non-profit” rate of $65 per keg and $17.00 per case) and will expect
prompt payment of all invoices.
3) The organization will set the retail price, provide the labor to sell the beer
to consumers and keep all profits generated from the retail sale of the beer.
C. We will donate up to $250 per month of O’Fallon Brewery “We Love Beer”
merchandise to organizations for the purpose of generating funds at a charity or private event.
1) The organization must request the donation in writing no less than 30
days in advance.
2) The organization must arrange to pick up the items during regular brewery
business hours.
The O’Fallon Brewery truck will only be used to dispense beer at Picnic licensed events. The O’Fallon Brewery reserves the right to refuse to donate beer to any organization or individual at our discretion.
How long have you been around?
O'Fallon Brewery began brewing and selling beer in the spring of 2000, leading with the flagship brand O’Fallon Gold. Since then the company has grown from a husband-wife team to a staff of nine full-time and six part-time employees, all passionate about brewing and dedicated to making the best beer possible. Currently the brewery offers four “everyday” brands and four seasonal beers, which are available in limited quantities throughout the year. Several of the brewery’s beers have been recognized in various competitions as among the best in their class.
The O’Fallon Brewery’s primary owners are founders Fran and Tony Caradonna who met at the Collge of Journalism at the University of South Carolina in 1980 and married three years later. Tony has been involved in the retailing, distribution and/or brewing of beer for nearly 25 years and first worked in the business as a tour guide at Anheuser-Busch’s brewery in St. Louis. Fran began her career in public radio and television and spent three years at KETC Channel 9 in the marketing department. In 1992 after a six-year stint with a small direct marketing agency as VP of Account Services, she joined Tony in the beer business, and they've worked full-time together ever since.
