WHERE TO BUY "WHISKEY PORTER"

April 18, 2008

THE BREWERY IS BUSTLING THIS MORNING as we wrap and pack
each of the approximately 900 22-ounce bottles of our
Spring 08 Edition of O'Fallon Whiskey Barrel Smoked Porter.
Last week I told you about what a rare treat we think this
batch, aged in Pappy Van Winkle 23-year old bourbon
barrels, is going to be. And it's really nice when someone
else -- especially someone whose opinion we value --
agrees! Here's an excerpt from Andy Ayers' April edition
of Riddle's CafĂ© newsletter:

"Just the aroma is stunning - honey, smoke, vanilla,
toasted bread, maple syrup, apple cider - and you don't
have to squint to get this wide aromatic panorama, it leaps
from the dark amber liquid to engage your olfactories,
ready or not. If the aroma is a revelation, the flavor is
an epiphany; all those aromatic elements concentrated into
a seamless fabric that leaves the taste buds spinning with
pleasure, swallowing effortlessly like liquid velvet. It's
the best beer I've ever tasted."

KIND WORDS AND MUSIC TO OUR EARS, because nothing makes us
happier than brewing a beer you love. Here's Andy's
personal invitation to our special release event at Riddles
next Tuesday:

"Wanna try it? I thought so. Here's the deal: O'Fallon's
four old oak bourbon barrels will yield 75 cases of twelve
22-ounce bottles and ONE half barrel for draught service.
If you are lucky, you might be able to find the bottled
beer at the finest beverage shops in town. Just be
prepared to pay about $200 a case. The one half barrel
goes to Riddle's. We will tap it at the O'Fallon Brewery
Pappy van Winkle Barrel Aged Smoked Porter Release Party
starting at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, April 22 at our
well-known location in the exciting U. City Loop."

NOW YOU NEED TO KNOW WHERE TO BUY A COUPLE OF BOTTLES, one
to share with your friends now (must be really GOOD
friends!) and one to put away for later. Here are the
retailers we will approach early next week to carry this
wonderful beer. Please call before you head over to one of
them to be sure they have agreed to sell it and have
received their delivery, all of which we hope to make over
a two to three day period next week.
