WHO SAYS FEBRUARY HAS TO BE BORING?

February 8, 2008

Here’s a couple of ways to brighten up the shortest month …

CELEBRATE THE CITY!

We’re teaming up next week with City Museum to “Celebrate
The City” and commemorate St. Louis’ 244th anniversary.
Join us on Friday, February 15 at 9:00 p.m. for live music
by The 7 Shot Screamers, record spinning by DJ Mark Lewis
and "celebrity security" provided by The Arch Rival Roller
Girls Female Roller Derby League. The night's festivities
will be included with the regular admission to The City
Museum that night. Best of all, O'Fallon 5-Day IPA &
Unfiltered Wheat bottles will be for sale that night in the
performance space. For more information go to City
Museum’s web site at www.citymuseum.org.

BEER TASTING TOURNAMENT

Can you tell the difference between Heineken and Busch?
Pabst and Stag? Test your tasting talent at the Bottoms Up
Brewhouse Beer Tasting Tournament on Monday nights at 7:00
p.m. Tony did a similar kind of promotion years ago when
he and a buddy owned the Filling Station Lounge in south
city, and he’s helping out at Bottoms Up for the first few
weeks. This is a great way to sample a number of different
brands and styles of beer…and to find out if you really do
have a discriminating beer palate! Each week brings a new
“round” and a new chance to win. Weekly winners will meet
in a contest for the Championship at a date yet to be
announced.

…however you spend your time this month, be sure to enjoy a
good beer!

Cheers!
