KICK OFF THE NEW YEAR WITH TWO SPECIAL EVENTS!
January 7, 2008
Goat’s Breath Bock Ale Kick Off Join us this Thursday, January 11th from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Rumple’s Pub (221 North Main Street in St. Charles) for the OFFICIAL kick-off of our re-introduction of Goat’s Breath Bock. Enjoy great beer and food, visit with the brewers and meet our mascot, “Cooter,” the goat! (For real!) The last time we launched this beer, Tony and I were running Signature Beer Company (a small specialty beer distributor) and our 15-year old son Lew was only two! Much has changed since then, and Goat’s Breath Bock is even better this time around. We brew a smooth, dark and rich tasting beer with our house Kolsch yeast to create a “bock ale.” Conventional German bock beers are brewed with lager yeast, but our passion is great beer...and we love to defy tradition every now and then! Newstead Tower Public House Beer Dinner This promises to be a memorable evening of fabulous food, great beer and excellent company, so make your reservations ASAP! It’s a five-course beer dinner on at the Newstead Tower Public House which is located at 4353 Manchester Road in the Grove neighborhood, at the corner of Newstead and Manchester. Chef Anthony Devoti has paired O’Fallon Brewery beers with five of his creations: Artisan Cheese & Sausage (O’Fallon Gold); Roasted Farrar Farm Duck with baby greens, lemon gastrique & toasted ciabatta (O’Fallon Wheat); Grilled Rainbow Trout with roasted root vegetables (Goat’s Breath Bock Ale); Braised Fruitland Farm Beef with couscous, raisins and black currants (O’Fallon Smoked Porter); Brioche Bread Pudding with chocolate, cherries, crème anglaise & coffee bean ice cream (O’Fallon Cherry Chocolate). Dinner starts at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, January 16th and the price is $40 per person. Call Newstead Tower Public House at 314-535-7771 to make your reservations. Have a great first full week of the New Year! Cheers! Fran Caradonna O’Fallon Brewery
