WINTER HAS ARRIVED…
December 8, 2006
It’s cold here in O’Fallon and probably anywhere else you
may be while you read this! Fortunately we didn’t lose
power and the ice/snow didn’t stop any deliveries, brews or
bottling runs. Last Friday our fearless crew made it in to
the brewery, cleared away the ice and snow (with a little
help from a friend), loaded up the truck, fired up the
boiler and got to work. Meanwhile, Tony was in Milwaukee
to spread the “We Love Beer” message and found himself
snowed in until Saturday! We’re pretty much back to normal
now and looking forward to more normal weather!
…BUT IT’S NEVER TO COLD FOR A GOOD BEER!
The cooler temps lead us to heartier brews…this is
wonderful weather for our award-winning Smoked Porter and
our current seasonal beer, O’Fallon Cherry Chocolate. A
warm and smooth dark wheat beer with subtle cherry and
chocolate flavoring…sweet and toasty! And we’ve just heard
about a new concoction called…
HOP AND A HALF!
Created by the ‘tenders (and a few fearless customers) at
Stella Blues (3269 Morganford in south St. Louis), this is
a blend of O’Fallon 5-DAY IPA and Guiness Stout…just
imagine it dark and sweet, pale and hoppy, all in one
fantastic pint of beer!
IF YOU HAVEN’T TRIED OUR 5-DAY IPA, it’s worth looking for!
Still available only on draught, we do plan to introduce
it in 6-packs in 2007. Try it at one of these fine
establishments in the St. Louis metro area (coming soon to
other locales!):
