O’Fallon Brewery Partners with Hill 2000 to Release Hill Golden Ale
Maryland Heights, MO – The O’Fallon Brewery introduces a beer benefiting the beloved St. Louis neighborhood, the Hill. The program is in partnership with local non-profit, Hill 2000, creating a house beer exclusively for the St. Louis iconic neighborhood. A portion of proceeds from the six pack of 12-oz cans and draft sales will benefit the nonprofit and its efforts.
The neighborhood organization, the Hill 2000, was established in 1970, it is a non-profit which was credited for purposes of community organizing, community leadership and advocacy, community planning, education, and charitable works. “The Hill neighborhood is so proud and appreciative to partner with the O’Fallon Brewery,” says President of Hill 2000 Chris Saracino. “It is our hope that you can enjoy the Hill Golden Ale with family friends and neighbors – Salute.”
“O’Fallon is proud to partner with Hill 2000 and launch the Hill Golden Ale for a community who understands what celebration with friends and family is all about,” says President of O’Fallon Brewery Jim Gorczyca. “I grew up close to The Hill, I worked at Bartolinos, and played soccer for PBM. The Hill has played an important role in my life, and I’m happy this beer will give back to the neighborhood and be a fun part of new memories to come.”
Golden Ale is brewed as a Kolsch style with 3 types of barley and two types of hops for a smooth taste and easy drinking broad appeal. It has 5 percent alcohol by volume and 10 IBUs. The can’s packaging showcases the iconic Italian flag colors and a message about the Hill 2000 nonprofit.
The Hill Golden Ale is now exclusively available on the Hill at select markets in 6-pk carriers of 12oz cans and available in package or draft at select restaurants. Head on down to the Hill to try one today and help us say, “Cheers to our Neighborhood”!
